Engagement From Start to Finish

with Brenna Peterson

This workshop focuses on building engagement before, during, and after the run so teams can feel more connected and ring-ready. Handlers will work on creating a strong warm-up routine, entering the ring with focus, maintaining connection at the start line, and reconnecting after the final obstacle so the dog stays mentally engaged through the entire experience.

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Handler Timing for Better Connection

with JuliAnna Munden

This workshop focuses on helping handlers understand how the timing of their movement, cues, and connection points affects the dog’s line and confidence. Teams will work on giving information earlier, staying connected through transitions, and learning when to move, when to wait, and how to support the dog without rushing or over-handling.

12:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Connecting in Coursework: Novice

with Hana Spitz

This workshop focuses on helping novice teams stay connected while building confidence in short sequences and coursework. Handlers will work on clear communication, supporting the dog’s line, reconnecting between obstacles, and creating smoother teamwork without rushing, over-handling, or leaving the dog behind.

12:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Connecting in Coursework: UKI Masters

with JuliAnna Munden

This workshop focuses on building and maintaining connection through more advanced UKI-style coursework. Teams will work on reading the dog’s line, giving earlier information, staying connected through technical transitions, and balancing speed with clarity on challenges such as backsides, threadles, discriminations, and fast lines into tighter handling moments.
