About

Does your dog struggle behaving in the blind while waiting their turn to hunt rats? The blind can be a tough environment for a lot of dogs. They are excited and ready to hunt, but first they must wait their turn, patiently, in the presence of other dogs and handlers. Some dogs get worked up from the energy in the blind, others may shut down. Whether you have an overly friendly dog that wants to be friends and socialize with everyone or you have a dog that needs space and doesn't want to be friends, learning how to manage your dog in the shared space so that they are then able to perform at their best in the ring while also not having a negative impact on anyone else in the blind is important. Join us in this workshop to learn ways to occupy your dogs mind and energy in a way that will be beneficial to them and those around you. Learn about what appropriate blind etiquette is and things you should avoid doing or bringing into the blind.
