About

Get ready to bring your A-game to the US Open! Join Hana, Jordan, and Dominique for a four-hour workshop featuring courses designed by US Open judges, plus skills, drills, and coursework built around each judge’s style and influences. It’s your chance to find the missing pieces in your teamwork now, instead of discovering them for the first time at the event. This workshop focuses on the skills that matter most on US Open courses: fast, efficient lines, tight turns, smooth transitions between handling styles, and the quick decision-making needed for challenging international-style sequences. You’ll work through course-style setups that mirror what you’ll see in competition, with personalized feedback from each instructor as you rotate through. Whether you’re fine-tuning your game plan or looking for that last bit of polish, you’ll leave with clear takeaways, fresh strategies, and the confidence to run your best when it counts. What to expect: Small-group instruction with hands-on coaching from all three instructors, competition-style sequences and course challenges, and handling, line, and strategy tips tailored to you and your dog.

Dominique Hellmich

Dominique is a fun-loving and engaging instructor. She teaches a variety of classes at Run Wild but her main passion is agility. She had great success in AKC with her Lab, Sophie, and has been on many big-show podiums with her Border Collie, Nova and Coolie, Cinder. Most recently, for 2026, she and her young Mudi, Chirp, were on the short list for the Agility World Championships Team selection.
